Glenn & Betsy were married on a beautiful New Year’s Eve day.. It was a celebration of love and happiness with their closest family & friends.

Following their nuptials, they proceeded to the very unique Camelot in Warrendale PA, in the North Hills of Pittsburgh PA.  Previously a church, this venue is special – and different – in a really good way.

For their reception entertainment, they chose the popular Pittsburgh wedding band Dreamscape.  Check out these awesome photos complements of Liquid Light Photography!

Ambassador Banquet Conference Center Erie PA ~ Maura and Joe

Maura and Joe are a very sweet, happy couple. The pair came through many obstacles to be together and were so excited to become husband and wife. The couple planned for a traditional wedding with all the trimmings- a beautiful church, venue, with gorgeous flowers, cake, and one of Pittsburgh’s best live bands to perform at their reception. Dreamscape played their favorite tunes and encouraged all their guests to get out on the dance floor at the Ambassador Center. The bride and groom could not have asked for more, their day was just as they imagined!

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Newlyweds Formal

The bride was a real beauty. With porcelain skin, natural makeup, and a swept up hair do, she must have taken the everyone’s breath away! Her off the shoulder wedding dress was covered in lace and her skirt was made of soft tulle. Her veil was pinned in the back and we love that she also wore a pretty headband.

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Bridal Gown

Their ceremony took place at the St. George Catholic Church. Friends and family watched as the bride and groom exchanged rings and vows. The church was modestly decorated with two large flower arrangements at the altar and clusters of roses adorned the aisle.

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Exchanging Vows

Their photographer, Rachel Lusky, took wonderful pictures of the bride and groom throughout their day. The relief and emotion was captured so well in this photo below. You did it! You’re married and now it’s time to party!

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Bride and Groom Aisle

THANK YOU, John!  The reception was fantastic with Tammi and Dreamscape!  I told Tammi we had dancers, but I was amazed that no one sat down – the dance floor was full all night long!  And the fact that the band  all work so well together just made the evening flow perfectly.  It was a beautiful night! – Mother of the Bride.

Navy and coral are not two colors you see often at weddings! Which is a shame, because the colors certainly go together very well. We love the pop of coral against the bridesmaids cool blue dresses. We also love that while each dress was short in length (easy for dancing!), the styles were different. Way to go for personal style and comfort! These ladies look great!

A formal pose of the groom with his groomsmen, in their charcoal gray suits and navy blue ties. Wearing big smiles and supporting the groom, we bet they were ready for some great music at the reception.

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Reception Hall

The Ambassador Center looked so gorgeous! The couple decorated the space with white tablecloths, navy napkins, and coral floral arrangements. Sparkly chandeliers and elegant lighting added to the ambiance. A large dance floor was in view of every table with plenty of room to boogie down to Dreamscape band.

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Reception Floral Arrangements

Let’s take a closer look at the floral arrangements. On a bed of greenery, the coral and pink roses and daises really looked popped! Alburn Florist did a wonderful job! Not to mention the bouquets- all creations of beauty.

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Bride and Groom Dancing

For their first dance the bride and groom chose a Beatles song- “Here, There, and Everywhere.” They asked Dreamscape to play a CD recording. The bride then danced with her father to “I Loved Her First”, performed live by the band. There was not a dry eye in the room!

The wedding cake was simple and sweet. White, with a blue satin trim, and a crown of roses on top. The couple ordered their cake from Cindy’s Let Them Eat Cake. After all the guests had finished their entrees, cake was served, and the party began.

Dreamscape read the crowd and played songs to keep everyone on the dance floor. The band was rocking, guests of all ages loved the beat, loved the music. The bride and groom asked the band to play some classic rock as well as other popular party hits.

Ryan and Jorjetta are a beautiful couple. The couple held their wedding at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort with an outdoor ceremony, grand ballroom reception, and live music. John Parker Band, a top Pittsburgh wedding band, was a part of their special day. The ballroom was spacious, plenty of room to have a good party! The bride and groom danced to “All of Me” for their first dance. Next, the groom chose a song for his bride- “Gorchivo Vino”. John Parker Band first explained, and then led, the breaking of the bread tradition as guests were seated. The mother of the groom and bride took part in holding and feeding the bride and groom a piece of the bread. Then, the best man had to break the bread in half over their heads, symbolizing who would be the bread winner and big spender of the family! John Parker Band was happy to be a part of the fun tradition. Guests were treated to a sit down dinner as toasts began from various family members. Soon the bride would dance with her father to “Daddy’s Angel” and the groom with his mother to “The First Lady In My Life”.

Nemacolin Woodlands Pittsburgh Wedding Groom and Mother Dance

The party really got rocking with some Bulgarian music. The bride and groom knew how important it was to their family to play familiar music. The band was able to play many of the songs they requested & DeeJay all the rest. Another Greek tradition is the money dance, which everyone danced and cheered, tossing money around. Doesn’t that look like a blast? That’s a great shot below of everyone having a good time!

“The band did a wonderful job! The night was a big hit. Everyone was very impressed with the professionalism of the band and the quality of the entertainment John and his group provided.” -Groom

The newlyweds had a huge list of songs for John Parker Band to play. Many of their choices were top party hits from today with a mixture of classics, such as “Twist and Shout” and “Summer of 69”. There was never a dull moment at this wedding and there was something for everyone to enjoy, including a complete fireworks display and an after party with John Parker playing DJ music!

Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh Wedding~ Molly and Andy

Molly and Andy had a classy wedding celebration. The Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh was the perfect fit for their ceremony, outdoor cocktail hour, and reception. Having every part of your wedding at the same location is so convenient, and easy, for friends and family! Especially when the venue is as beautiful as the Hotel Monaco. With high ceilings, retro carpeting, and a large dance floor, there was nothing more the couple could have asked for. Except- an awesome live band!

The couple knew they wanted to have a great party and chose a the best Pittsburgh Wedding band to perform at their reception; John Parker Band. The band played top hits and made their reception one memorable night!

Their photographer, Christina Montemurro, took advantage of the many photo opportunities the venue had to offer. There were plenty of spots for beautiful photos indoors and outdoors. The bride and groom opted to do a first look before their ceremony. What a special moment, seeing each other in their finest- the bride in her white dress and the groom in his suit. We adore how lovingly looked at one another in the photo above.

The bride’s gown was sleek and elegant. Her dress had a high neckline, a beaded belt, and pleated skirt. Her makeup made her eyes pop and her smooth up-do held her veil in place. What a great dress to dance in too, later in the night!

The bride’s bouquet had purple, gold, and white flowers. It was absolutely stunning and was put together by florist, My Garden Floral. If you look closely, you can even see some fruit in the mix! How unique.

We love when a bride allows her bridesmaids the freedom to chose their style of dress. Wearing the same shade of purple, the girls looked lovely, some wearing strapless, one shoulder, and or a V-neck. They all carried bunches of white roses and were so pretty! There’s no doubt that these ladies would have a blast at the reception- short dresses are so fun to dance in!

White Barn Pittsburgh Wedding ~ Capri and Louis

Capri and Louis were wed on a gorgeous sunny day. There was not a cloud in the sky as the couple said their “I do’s” at their outdoor ceremony. The reception venue, the White Barn, was a true throwback to vintage decor with strings of pearls, lace, and breathtaking floral arrangements.

For live entertainment, the dancing-till-you-drop Pittsburgh wedding band, City Heat, performed for their family and friends as they danced non stop all evening long. The couple created the perfect playlist for the band to play, with fun, groovy tunes, getting guests up and on their feet, till their shoes came off!

Weddings are all about the details, and in this wedding, there were many to see. Simple and romantic, little touches are everywhere, starting with the bride. She wore slingback wedges and a form fitting gown. Her dress was covered in lace, and the back delicately woven with flowers and dotted with buttons.

We love this photo below, of the groom awaiting to meet his bride. So much anticipation! He wore a gray suit and white bow tie.
