Elizabeth and Jonathan planned an elegant wedding celebration at one of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania’s most exclusive country clubs. The couple incorporated many of their family members to be a part of their special day. A strong bond is evident in all their photos, with the bride and her sisters, parents, and of course, the groom. Their reception was one of a kind, held at an exclusive country club, with twinkling lights and the top premier wedding band, John Parker Band, who performed all night for all their family and friends.
Before the ceremony the bride and groom posed outside for photos with their bridal party. The leaves and evergreen trees made for the perfect rustic backdrop.
The bride wore a strapless sweetheart gown. Her skirt and bodice were beaded with flowers and lace. Her hair was pulled back in a bun, with a pendant pinned in place. The flower girl posed sweetly with the bride, wearing a crown of flowers in her hair.
What a lovely photo, the bride with her sisters- her maids of honor. They wore silver dresses embellished with sequins. Their bouquets consisted of white roses, gray flowers, and assorted greenery. We love their simple, soft hairdos.
Oh, how precious! We bet the photographer, Jessica Vogelsang, loved having the opportunity to photograph such beautiful girls! The girls wore matching gold dresses and shoes. Too cute for words!
And now we must focus our attention on the two ring bearers. The boys wore khaki pants and brown shoes. Their jackets were dark blue, just like the groom, with red bow ties. Such handsome little boys!
We love the groom here, sporting his fun socks! His seasonal tie looked great too! We love his blue suit, leather shoes, and crisp white shirt.
The bride and groom were wed at St. Michael’s of the Valley church. It was the perfect location for their nuptials.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception venue for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Jazzy, festive music was played by the band during cocktails until it was time for the newlyweds to share their first dance as husband and wife. Guests gathered around the dance floor to watch and take pictures as John Parker Band played “You Are The Best Thing”. The band invited all married couples to join the bride and groom as the song came to a close.
The venue space twinkled with lights and a large tree was in the center of the room. Chandeliers dangled from the ceiling and white tables with low floral arrangements added to the beauty of the space. The band was all set to entertain the wedding by the dance floor, in perfect view. The fun would soon begin!
Guests were treated to a sit down dinner as John Parker Band played soft tasteful music. The bride’s father and maid of honors toasted to the bride and groom before the band transitioned to the traditional parent dances.
The bride danced with her father to “My Girl” and the groom danced with his mother to “You Raise Me Up”. The band invited other father and daughters to join in, as well as other mothers and sons. Then, it was time to cut the cake and get the party started!

The bride and groom requested John Parker Band to play good ol’ oldies, classic rock, and some of today’s top hits. The couple love music and a good beat and hoped for a funky, non stop dancing night. The party was a blast with everyone grooving on the dance floor, from young to old! Good music knows no age limit, and that was certainly the case at this party!
Bride and Groom: “Our guests had a BLAST! Everyone had so much fun and could not believe what a great band we had at our wedding.”
The band played many of the songs on the bride and groom’s set list. From Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra, to the White Stripes and KC & The Sunshine Band, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We adore these photos below of the ring bearer and flower girl having fun!
The John Parker Band had a fantastic time at Elizabeth and Jonathan’s wedding. Their wedding could not have been more beautiful and what a wonderful couple! We wish you many years of love and happiness!
