Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe Pittsburgh Wedding ~ Kristi and James

Kristi and James make a beautiful couple. The newlyweds celebrated their marriage at the picturesque Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe/Pittsburgh. A traditional Greek celebration was planned with fun music and customary dances. Pittsburgh’s top Wedding Band – John Parker, was a huge part of the night, providing outstanding entertainment all evening long. It was quite the party!

The bride wore a beaded gown with intricate patterns of flowers. Her hair was swept away, curled in a beautiful up-do, with a few soft ringlets around her face. Delicate capped sleeves and pretty earrings completed her look. Her classic, romantic style was captured flawlessly by their photographer, Amber Marie Photography.

The bride and groom exchanged vows at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church. Following the ceremony, friends and family arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe to mingle and munch for cocktail hour.

We love the colors in this wedding. The bride and groom chose accents of red among the white, cream, and pink flowers. Soft gold taffeta covered the tables and plum chargers were set under the white china. Their florist, Donati Florist, did a fabulous job arranging the flowers.

The band was ready and waiting to start the evening in the reception hall. Upbeat music played, beckoning guests to the dance floor. The bridal party made their entrance and the bride and groom followed close behind. The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife as John Parker Band played “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)”.

As dinner was served, John Parker Band played soft music. Guests enjoyed the romantic vibe and were later delighted to watch the bride and groom share dances with their parents. The fun was just about to begin- the band called up family members to join in for a traditional Greek dance! What a lively wedding, from rock n roll to 70s and 80s hits, with Greek and American music intermixed! Guests boogied down all night long.

Sheraton Station Square Hotel Pittsburgh Wedding ~ Rachael and Alex

From the effortlessly beautiful decor to the ballroom full of smiles, Rachael and Alex’s wedding artfully intertwined natural elegance and family fun. This happy couple enjoyed their big day at the sleek and contemporary Sheraton Station Square Hotel, which lended a decidedly polished look to the entire wedding. Once the couple said their “I do’s,” guests celebrated the newlyweds’ union by moving to the melodies of Pennsylvania wedding band City Heat! This fun-filled wedding surely created wonderful family memories for years to come!

Wedding photographer Lauren Renee generously provided us with these breathtaking photos, flawlessly capturing the sophistication and warmth of Rachael and Alex’s nuptials!

Rachael and Alex were wed in a traditional Jewish ceremony. The natural light flooded in from the Sheraton’s expansive windows, illuminating the bride and groom as they exchanged their vows beneath the bright chuppah framed by simple cream flowers.

The Sheraton Station Square Hotel offered a gorgeous waterfront venue for celebrating the pair’s union, while wedding planner Margie Stang ensured that everything looked absolutely perfect. First, the couple and their guests enjoyed a relaxing cocktail hour in the Fountainview Room, delighting in cheese and fruit and chatting amongst themselves as a classic string duo played in the background. For the reception, everyone made their way into the Grand Station Ballroom, a gracious space featuring high ceilings, modern chandeliers, and oversized windows with unrivaled views of the Monongahela River and Pittsburgh’s sparkling skyline. After indulging in a delectable meal, the guests boogied on the dance floor!

In collaboration with the band, the couple curated a knockout playlist that ranged from a traditional tunes like the Hora to Top 40 hits like Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance.” The dance floor was practically overflowing thanks to the versatile talents of a first class wedding band!

Casino at Lakemont Park Wedding ~ Julie and Adam

Julie and Adam’s lush spring wedding showed just how wonderful akelassic decor can look when nestled into interesting spaces! The charming garden ceremony setting and historic ballroom reception created a splendorous, yet relaxed atmosphere on their big day. Pair a welcoming ambiance with upbeat music selections rendered by Dreamscape wedding band and you have yourself a party!

The talented Nick Finochio of Nick Finochio Photography generously provided these fabulous photos of the couple’s big day, allowing you to enjoy the stunning decor and overall vibrant feel of the big day!

The happy couple said their vows in the finely manicured gardens at the Portage Aleghenny Railroad Park. The bride and groom shared their first kiss as husband and wife beneath a clear blue stretch of sky!

The newlyweds and theirs guests enjoyed an impeccable celebration in the Casino at Lakemont Park‘s gorgeous Soho Room, which featured an artful blend of contemporary ballroom elements riddled with more rustic touches. Resident event planning specialist Victoria Mirenda had this stylish space looking more stunning than ever. The surrounding balcony was embellished with sparkling lights, invoking a pleasantly whimsical feel. The towering beams, shimmering chandeliers, and stone fireplace gave the space some wonderfully rustic undertones.

Country Club Ligonier Wedding ~ Rachael and Matt

There’s really nothing like a quintessential winter wedding! Rachael and Matt celebrated their union in an elegant yet faintly rustic setting that truly invoked the welcoming feel of a classic country-style Christmas. From the heartwarming ceremony to the grand festivities at the country club, this big day is sure to leave an impression on guests for the rest of their days! The couple and their family danced the night away to the tunes of Pittsburgh’s finest wedding band, which conjured a distinct atmosphere of cheer and jubilation during the reception!

Rachael and Matt said their “I do’s” surrounded by their nearest and dearest at St. Mary’s of the Mount, a beautiful Roman Catholic Church nestled in Pittsbugh’s Mount Washington neighborhood. The soaring ceilings invoked the God’s presence while blooming winter flowers decorated the altar, creating a stunning space that was nothing short of perfect for this hallmark moment!

The newlyweds enjoyed a delightful dinner with their closest friends and family at a historic club known for its exclusivity and gorgeous stone architecture. The guests enjoyed a relaxing cocktail hour in the Terrace Room before making their way into the Ballroom for a delectable dinner. Wedding planner Nicole Dorko ensured that everything looked stellar. The ballroom served as a testament to her dedication, with the light-laden holly branches and illuminated Christmas tree perfectly offsetting the space’s elegant light blue walls, sky high ceilings, and shimmering crystal chandeliers.

To keep the party rolling all night long, the couple looked to the Dreamscape Wedding Band to set the atmosphere with some incredible music! The dance floor was in full swing until it was time for the couple to make their grand exit!

Heinz History Center Pittsburgh Wedding ~ Lisa and Kanat

Lisa and Kanat held a one-of-a-kind vintage style wedding with an international flair that guests won’t soon forget! For their reception, the bride and groom selected Pennsylvania’s City Heat band to crank up the excitement level and keep up the momentum!

The couple also sought out the services of the gifted Christina Montemurro, who took the gorgeous wedding photos you’ll find below!

…..What an absolutely beautiful bride!

After a loving 7-year relationship, Lisa and Kanat were finally wed in the intimate Library & Archives room on the 6th floor of the Heinz History Center before just under 100 friends and family members.

The reception took place in the History Center’s Grand Hall. Cara Bull-Trombold, the venue’s outstanding Events Coordinator, made everything looking absolutely perfect! The international element was showcased in the reception’s decor, with each table being assigned a country and decorated appropriately. The vintage theme could still be seen as well. Surrounded by antique vehicles of all kinds, guests enjoyed delectable food from The Common Plea.

Guests couldn’t get their feet to stop tapping and moving to the irresistible music of Pittsburgh’s hottest wedding band! Though it was sad that the night had to end, the bride and groom would go on to enjoy a second wedding in Kazakhstan.
