West Overton Barn Scottsdale Wedding ~ Maggie and Joe

Maggie and Joe’s laid back wedding had a distinctly intimate feel thanks to the modest ‘family & close friends’ guest list and sweet hand-selected decor. For this celebration, the wedding band Dreamscape put on one heck of a show for the newlyweds and their guests!

Tiffany, one of the talented founders of TJZ Creations, provided us with some delightful photos of this charming wedding for you to enjoy.

Both the ceremony and the reception took place inside the West Overton Barn, a rustic venue. It was the perfect canvas for the antique decor that the bride and groom had in mind! The ceremony space was beautifully simplistic, decorated with only a few rows of wooden chairs and some flower boxes.

In the reception area, guests kicked off the night by signing bottles of anniversary wine for the newlyweds instead of a guest book. The old wooden beams of the barn were dripping with festive lights, giving the room a romantic glow. English-style flower arrangements, old newspaper table runners, book stack centerpieces, and window pane seating charts contributed to the distinct vintage feel of the wedding!

Pittsburgh’s coolest wedding band played sensational melodies that gave guests reason to move, keeping this dance party running late into the evening. Even the kids joined in on the fun!

Power Center Ballroom Pittsburgh Wedding ~ Antoinette and Drew

Antoinette and Drew’s classic wedding bash was served with a side of bling and a little dash of fun! The newlyweds’ high-spirited guests practically shook the dance floor as they moved and grooved to the amazing John Parker Band!

Take a look through the gorgeous wedding photos taken by Studio Bash. The couple are sure to treasure these forever! The bride and groom were wed beneath the soaring heights of St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland. This majestic, historic venue really set the mood for the ceremony. From the towering altar to the intricate beading of the bride’s dress, everything about these nuptials was grand. Following the “I do’s,” the newlyweds and the other members of the wedding party made their way Downtown to enjoy an afternoon photo shoot in Mellon Green Park.

The reception took place at Duquesne University’s elegant Power Center Ballroom. Head of staff Karen White made certain that everything looked exactly the way the bride and groom wanted! The room was a vision of white and crystal, from the refined centerpieces to the cream fabric seat covers. Rhinestone-encrusted flower vases and blingy cake stands brought some subtle glitz and glam to the otherwise classic decor.

Phipps Conservatory ~ Cara & Ben

Love was in bloom at Cara and Ben’s garden wedding! The charming couple was married in June at the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, where an outdoor ceremony was followed by an evening of music and dancing with City Heat, one of Pittsburgh’s best wedding bands!

Bride Cara was a vision among roses, dressed in a fitted lace trumpet gown with a dusty mauve sash and a tiered veil, as she walked down the outdoor aisle to meet her groom. Her new husband Ben wore a classic black suit with a white tie, and the pink dresses worn by the bridesmaids complemented the colorful landscape.

The couple’s summer wedding was made perfect with creative touches throughout the evening. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails among the lush greenery of the venue’s gardens. In the reception hall, tables of white were surrounded by gold cane-back chairs and decorated with bright flowers planted in dark cauldron pots. To find their seats, guests looked to packets of seeds, which held the numbers at each table.

These photos, taken by Edward at Sky’s the Limit Photography and shared by the newlyweds, capture the elegance and charm of the evening, as well as the fun! The couple had a blast dancing with family and friends to the band’s fantastic playlist.

Oglebay Resort Wheeling WV Wedding ~ Robin and Jim

Robin and Jim’s late autumn wedding was full of hospitality and cheer! Their warm fall color scheme meshed well with the intimate and welcoming air of the day, encouraging guests to come out of their shells and have a great time. Robin and Jim enlisted the help of City Heat wedding band for the reception, keeping even the most dance-adverse entertained all evening.

Robin and Jim’s ceremony took place at the University of Pittsburgh’s historic & breathtaking Heinz Chapel. This exclusive venue, reminiscent of Europe’s finest gothic cathedrals, would be the envy of many couples throughout Pittsburgh.

The next stop for the couple and their guests was the beautiful Oglebay Resort in Wheeling West Virginia – less than an hour away and well worth the drive! The venue’s Event Coordinator Lori Horvath and decorator Patty Penich created the perfect reception space, drawing on the couple’s orange, red, and yellow color scheme in the candy buffet and floral table accents. Everything from the 3-tier pearlized wedding cake to the monogrammed dance floor was tastefully done and create a unique atmosphere that will be remembered fondly for years to come!

After the bride and groom shared a heartwarming first dance, the guests took the dance floor by storm! One of Pittsburgh’s hottest wedding bands provided some awesome jams for the night, keeping the couple’s friends and families entertained for the entire evening.

Lingrow Farm ~ Gina and Troy

Gina and Troy were married last October at the Lingrow Farm, where the rustic background and elegant, simple touches framed a beautiful, classy day. The popular Pittsburgh area wedding band, Dreamscape, added the final finish for a fun and fantastic night!
