Alicia and Doug’s grand wedding reception event had a vintage style uand a family-friendly feel that enchanted everyone in attendance. To keep feet moving during the reception, the City Heat Band provided outstanding music that was tailored to fit the bride and groom’s personal tastes.
The talented Anita Buzzy Prentiss, founder of Buzzy Photography, was kind enough to provide us with some spectacular photos she snapped during this beautiful wedding!
Following the stage ceremony, the newlyweds and guests enjoyed a relaxing cocktail hour on the Carnegie Music Hall balcony, enjoying broadway and jazz piano renditions provided by the John Parker Bands.
The newlyweds shared a heartwarming first dance as husband and wife in the Carnegie Music Hall’s Grand Foyer as guests watched from the balcony. When guests finally descended into the breathtaking space, they were taken by the soaring ceilings, gold detailing along the walls, and the generous amount of room for merriment and dancing! Though the venue was amazing by itself, the decor only added to the epic feel of the room. Liza Reed, the wonderful Assistant Manager of Special Events at Carnegie, had everything looking spectacular!
To keep guests of all ages smiling and entertained, the bride and groom hired a talented and versatile Pittsburgh wedding band City Heat to play music from many different eras and genres. The newlyweds and their guests ripped up the dance floor until midnight!
